While visiting Halls Creek it is also worth heading up to the lookout for a view over town, this is especially nice around dawn and dusk. Head along Roberta Ave past the Police Station and ‘Old Trackers Hut’ (which is also worth a look) and follow the ‘Car Bonnet Signs’. Only 4 km down Roberta Ave then 500 metres to the lookout, dirt road for last 2.5 kms.
